Use this leash if it is wet or really dirty since it does not absorb moisture and wipes off cleanly. Prefer a leather leash for the feel and flexibility but do not want to damage it with too much moisture and/or dirt. The biothane is great for what it is but not a substitute for leather in IMHO unless conditions are bad.
